AI implementation partner scorecard

Score up to three partners against the criteria that matter for your project and see a ranked comparison with the gaps to probe before you sign.

Partners

Understanding your workflow before the technologyThey ask about the workflow and the people who run it before naming a platform.

Delivery evidence you can verifyThey can describe a similar engagement in detail and offer a reference you can call.

Approach to your existing systemsThey check your APIs, permissions and data quality before committing to a timeline.

Data security and accessThey can say exactly where your data is processed and stored, and who can read it.

Where people stay in controlNamed approval points for consequential actions, with an owner for anything the system is unsure about.

Testing against real cases before launchA test set built from your real cases, with accuracy agreed against your own criteria.

Clarity of scope and running costsThe proposal separates what the build costs from what it costs to run each month.

Handover and ownershipYou own the repository, the cloud accounts and documentation detailed enough to hand over.

Support after launchMonitoring, updates and incident response are scoped and priced separately from the build.

Who actually does the workNamed people and roles, with how much of their time is committed to your project.

How the scoring works

  • Each criterion carries a weight you set: Low, Normal or High, worth 1, 2 or 3 points.
  • Each rating you give a partner is worth 0 to 3 points: No evidence, Weak, Adequate or Strong.
  • A partner's score is its rated criteria's points, weighted, as a share of the most those same criteria could score. A criterion you have not rated yet is left out, not counted as zero.
  • A gap of 5 points or less between the top two partners is marked as a close call.
  • A partner rated No evidence on a High-weight criterion is flagged as a likely deal-breaker until they answer it.
  • The comparison comes from your own ratings. It does not evaluate any partner, product or proposal on our behalf.
