AI readiness assessment

An AI readiness assessment reviews a company's workflows, data, systems and people to decide where AI can help, what must be fixed first and what to leave alone.

An assessment helps leaders avoid funding AI projects that stall on missing data, unclear ownership or systems that cannot be connected. The usual outputs are a view of the current state, a ranked list of opportunities, a recommended approach and a roadmap for the first project.

For example, an assessment might find that invoice matching is a strong candidate but that supplier records in the ERP need cleaning before any automation will work. The limit is that an assessment is only as good as the access it gets. If the people who do the work are not interviewed, the findings describe the process on paper rather than the process in practice.
